State required courses or subjects- Same subjects and courses as taught in the public schools
Required number of hours per day per year - 180 days per year
Delaware rules and regulations do not address the issue of homeschooling. Instead the issue is school attendance.
The state asks that you submit an enrollment statement both before July 31st and by the last school day in September to your local school superintendent. With this form include a statement and evidence showing that the child is receiving a regular and thorough education at home. Some means of demonstrating progress should be shown.
