Trustworthy information regarding the laws in Michigan can be obtained at cost from the Michigan Homeschool Association. They publish a book called "What's A Michigan Homeschooler to Do?" and the MHA Newsletter. You might want a copy of their first newsletter "Accessing and Understanding the Law." It comes with some of the most important documents for a cost of $2. The book is $20 but it contains a lot more information.
