You are expected annually to seek a public school attendance notification for your children from the local school district. This is done by completing an annual application form available in the district office. On the application, you will need to list the courses you will teach and a schedule\calendar showing the required courses and the number of hours\days. For grades K-6, include language arts, math, science, social studies, arts, healthy lifestyles, and information technologies. For grades 7-8, add pre-vocational education and electives of your choice. For grades 9-12, include English, language arts, math, science, vocational education, special studies, arts, healthy lifestyles, and electives of your choice.
Starting in 9th grade students need to make the choice as to graduating from high school or not. This is the year they start "counting" towards graduation diplomas here.
Maintain sufficient "evidence" to satisfy the local school board that your curriculum and days\year length meet the requirements, that your home school materials are adequate, and that academic progress occurs. Also keep attendance records
